Hey guys,
So my clunky e-machine kicked the bucket this morning. I was freaking out because I thought I probably lost all of my high-res .PSD and idea .doc files that I didn't back up. Luckily, my Dad says it sounds like we'll be able to recover my files (I am being only cautiously optimistic about this, however...).

...but I get a new computer! cool!

So...since we're NOT going to be buying from e-machines again (more trouble than it's worth, seriously!), I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what is a good digital art-oriented type of computer. Nothing TOO outrageous in price range, of course. I prefer PC, but am thinking of just making the move into mac if I must...

so...opinions? please? Thanks so much

Hey guys!

First of all, I'm thinking of doing art trades and commissions this summer! Is anyone interested?

Secondly, if you work digitally and want to get your work printed, what is the best DPI to work in? 300-400 DPI is what I usually work in, so if I wanted to make like a comic and then print it out, would I still need to do everything at 300 DPI?
